| I am the NaturalChildhood is the golden paradise we are always consciously or unconsciously trying to re-create. The Natural embodies the longed-for qualities of childhood - spontaneity, sincerity, unpretentiousness. In the presence of Naturals, we feel at ease, caught up in their playful spirit, transported back to that golden age. Adopt the pose of the Natural to neutralize people’s defensiveness and infect them with helpless delight.
Symbol: The Lamb. So soft and endearing. At two days old the lamb can gambol gracefully; within a week it is playing “Follow the Leader.” Its weakness is part of its charm. The Lamb is pure innocence, so innocent we want to possess it, even devour it. |

Here we go again. I couldn’t seem to make up my mind on what our dresses should look like. These gowns look so dainty and feminine. Anyway, the MOH gown is Printed Organdy…princess line dress features halter neckline with back tie. We would modify this a bit because MOH is a bit conservative. We can make it bateau neckline then the lower portion is still the same. We can also change the color of the fabric and make it Coral and peach.
So what do you think? Any comments?
I’ve also posted a picture of bridesmaids’ dresses below. It is also printed Organdy, Satin Ribbon Belt with Floral Pin…strapless dress features satin ribbon belt and floral pin at waist…cocktail length…optional spaghetti straps. So what do you think is better the one previously posted or this one?

We were able to attend the Blissful Occasions Grand Food Tasting last Friday at the Fernwood Gardens. It was a lot of fun. Fernwood looked so magical at night. If only we have enough budget, we would love to have our wedding there. But we must be really practical these days. =)
It was so funny because we got lost on our way there. We went to the place not knowing how to get there. We just relied to the good old “Ins and Outs” map that we borrowed from future FIL. According to the map, we should turn right to the Fisheries from Visayas Ave. We have reached the end of Visayas but we couldn’t find Fisheries. So we have to go back to the other end of Visayas. This time we found the street we are looking for and from there we were able to get to the place. Dady was a bit worried because the invite states that the food tasting will start at 6 pm. We reached the place at around 6:30. I saw his face light up when he found out that event hasn’t started yet.
Other than the food tasting from Josiah’s, there are other suppliers displaying their wares. We visited Matus Jewellry. We took a look at the rings they have on display and we also tried on some rings so that we know our measurements. I think that the owner is very nice, she even sent out a text message thanking us for being present at the said event. However, we would like to look at other options first. We heard a lot of feedbacks that Ongpin sells wedding bands at a very affordable price. We’ll try to visit one of these days.
The food tasting started at 7 pm. There are lots of food… they have buffet tables, crepe & dessert stations, Salad bars, and On the Spot Cooking . We loved the grilled tanguigue with lemon butter sauce which they cooked on the spot. The food was okay but not that spectacular. However, we loved the centerpieces especially the calla lillies so i asked dady to take a picture of it. Kindly take a look at it below and see if you find it pretty too.
We took a lot of pictures. Some of it can be found below but i will upload all of it on our webshots album. http://community.webshots.com/user/n1cemorn1ng

The parrots look so nice.

We saw these invites at the NBC Tent fair last Sept 4-5. These were made by Eventi and they are selling it at 90 php each. We are considering it as our invites because it fits well to our theme and can also serve as wedding favours as well.
Anyway, there is still a lot of time to decide. We might get this on the next bridal fair come January or March next year. There are a lot of benefits on booking suppliers on fairs. You get a lot of discounts and freebies.

I got this from www.theknot.com . A strapless, natural waist gown. Fabric is Silk chiffon and Silk Charmeuse. The sash is charmeuse which ties at the back. This is the color of my motiff plus it matches the fabric of my dream gown. I’m thinking of having my bridesmaids pick the neckline that they want.
The other option that I’m looking at are printed tea length gowns. I saw a great looking one on the Bride’s magazine. I’ll see if I can bring it tom so that i can post it here. So what do you think of this gown? Comments are highly appreciated. hehe.

Finally, I was able to find something to my liking. It is a white haltered chiffon gown with front shape and low back detail by Randy Ortiz. I saw this picture on the Bride and Home magazine and Debbie scanned the picture for me. Ain’t that sweet?!
What i like about this gown is that it looks so simple and very light to wear on an outdoor wedding like ours. I could now imagine how the fabric will sway whenever the wind blows. Ayayayay!!!! here we go again…..daydreaming.
I hope i could find someone who could execute the design on an inexpensive price. Gowns is not on top of our priority list and besides, who needs a super expensive gown that you only get to wear 1 day? I’m also thinking of adding dainty looking embellishments to add a little glitter. What do you think? Will that look good on the fabric?

Here is my ideal centerpiece. Handmade lamps embellished with seashells. They look so romantic at night and would go well with our theme.
I think this can be availed through the Premier Wedding Package of Batis Asul. I would love to have these centerpieces on our wedding reception but dady is considering the cost. I hope I can convince him that this is worth spending for. Speaking of Batis Asul, we are scheduled to have our food tasting on Saturday. I’m so excited as i’ve read a lot of great reviews from w@w. The other option we have is Blue Petals but if i have to choose, i would prefer Batis Asul. I’ll post an update again next week.

I was searching the net for my dream bouquet. This is the only thing that struck me. It looks so beautiful…simple yet very elegant. I’m so sure that this will go well with our beach theme wedding. I have yet to show this to dady morning. I hope he will like it too. I wonder if we could find a good florist to do this bouquet. Hmmmmmmm…. how much will it cost, i wonder.

We really had fun during dady’s visit in Ilocos last January. We were able to go to Fort Ilocandia. We planned to go there during his last visit but didn’t have the time.
Dady enjoys his visit to our house. I think he has grown fond of my family esp my parents. If only we could go there more often. I hope we can have bullet trains so that travel to our hometown wouldn’t be such a drag. Nevertheless, our trips were always worth it. It is where we feel at home…in the loving arms of our families.

This post should be entitled panic Monday instead. Support Managers are asking me to submit the IBD user list. 10 of them haven’t gone through QA checks yet. As Debbie is still sick, I am to do everything by myself. Huhuhuhu. Anyhow, the task was completed but i have to extend my time and go through a little bit of drama. Dady knows what i mean. hehehe
Until tom….as tom is another day.
