I think being a remote manager poses a challenge…that you are not physically there to direct your team. This is the reason why he oten travels to Manila to check the team. I think this year he’s been here 5 times. For most of these trips he usually stays for a week. Also, modern technology helps. On the average he calls 4 times a day, sends IM messages every time he needs me and conducts conference calls once a week. Iba talaga sha. Even though he’s not here, monitored nya kami.
