The Gown Dilemma - Heeeeeeelp!!!
As said on my previous post. I wasn’t happy about my gown. Maybe because I have envisioned it A-line and flowing and me looking like a princess. I know that the gown that I have now is not that bad but I might look like a sponsor and not a bride. What do you guys think?
I’ve spoken to my mananahi and she told me that we couldn’t make the existing gown a-line as it is already cut. The only possible thing to do is to buy a new cloth and make a new one and I get to keep the old gown. This would cost me an additional 5K.
I called Carolina’s today to inquire if they still have my cloth on stock. Sadly, they only have 1 yard left. They even checked out other branches but to no avail. :c However, they told me that there will be a new delivery of a similar cloth that will be coming next week. They promised to call me as soon as it becomes available.
So what do you guys think? Should I ask my mananahi to make a new gown or just make do of the existing gown? Comments are extremely appreciated!!!!!

Hi nice!..Honestly i liked your gown, i think the fabric is very nice. But as you said, the hemline is not so flattering nga nman(magmumukha bang sponsor…hehe!). I’ll send you some pictures that i think would inhance your hemline.

Hi there! I am idly browsing and ended up in your site. Anyway, here is a link to a bridal gown maker and maybe you can find inspiration in the numerous hemlines they have. I specifically thought you may be interested in this one:

You may need more fabric but your seamstress might be able to help you solve your dilemna. I know how stressed you are right now and I hope everything works well in the end.
I ordered my gown from that maker and chose this design:

The full A-hemline wasn’t my idea but when I tried it on with a petticoat, it did make me look like a princess.
hi n!ce, chie here…i viewed your pics of the gown and it really doesn’t look bad at all, it shows off your figure and the lace looks nice. but if you truly don’t feel happy about it, have a new one made. wearing a gown you love will definitely make you a much more “glowing” bride. just be sure that: 1. your mananahi can finish it in time for the wedding; 2. they know exactly what style you want and 3. may budget ka :))
