04.30.05 – Welcomed break from Wedding Preps Part 1

Nakakatuwa kasi I was given a chance to break free and relax. Best of all it is free. Sponsored by Lord Thomson kasi. Hahahaha! Our teams had the time to relax by sleeping over at Westin. We checked in at around 2 pm and hit the swimming pool at around 4:30. =) Finally, I was able to enjoy the summer heat. Matatapos na kasi ang summer pero hindi pa rin ako nakakapag bakasyon. So what can you expect? Talagang nagbabad ako sa pool.

After that, we ordered 2 humongous halo-halo and had our pictures taken at the giant chessboard and hammock. I was thinking of M0rn1ng the whole time. Dream nya kasi na mag swimming dun. Anyway, we’ll do it one of these days. After the wedding perhaps for we still have some Westin vouchers left. Mejo inggit nga si kolokoy but he had fun naman din for he prepared a small get together with his friends and he was able to have a massage. Hindi nya magawa kasi to pag wala akong ibang lakad kasi lagi nya akong pupuntahan. Hahahaha!

Back to our week-end gimik. We had dinner at Giligan’s Malate. Grabe!!! Dami ng food. Shempre set aside na naman ang diet. Bar hopping pagkatapos. 2 pm na kami bumalik ng Westin. Everyone had a great time.

You might be wondering why Part1. Shempre kasi may part 2. Nyahahahaha! We’ll be leaving for Cebu next week for our off-site meeting. Business with pleasure! I’m so looking forward to it.

05.01.05 – Cos I’m Missing you

I missed M0rn1ng for we haven’t had any decent conversation for days. All we had are text messages and short phone calls. Nakakapanibago for we’re also best buddies. Yung tipong pag may kwento ka, sha kagad yung naiisiip mo na sasabihan. I was so looking forward to this day for we would be able to update each other.

Pagdating nya konting kwento kwento lang then we went straight to business. We have to discuss our Divisoria trip the next day kasi. Lam nyo na…to maximize our time. Malapit na kasi yung wedding so we wanted to accomplish everything as soon as possible para the week before the wedding petiks na lang kami. Kalungkot lang kasi he’s not in the mood. He was a bit tired and he just wanted to relax with me and not do the preps. Ako naman…we have to plan our Divi trip. Hehehehe! I’m a slave driver. :p So yun mejo nagka-iritahan. He went home early ok na rin sa akin para maaga din kami bukas sa Divi. After he left, I felt a twinge of guilt. Sana pinagbigyan ko na lang din muna shang makipag bonding. Di bale, I’ll make it up to him.

05.02.05 – Divi Trip : Success!!!

We woke up early today. We really planned our Divi trip. We strategized by splitting our team into two. My sisters will shop for our home needs while M0rn1ng & I will shop for our wedding needs. We listed down all the items we need to buy according to priorities and we set our budget. We are up by 5:45 and started making breakfast. M0rn1ng arrived at 6:45 and we ate together. We arrived at Divi before 8 am and we had ample parking space at Recto cor Tabora. We’ve agreed that the 2 teams will meet at the parking space by 10:30 am.

It was a breeze shopping for it’s not that hot and di mashado siksikan. Siguro kasi maaga pa. The first thing we bought were the party poppers. We bought then for 35 bucks at the basement of the Divisoria malls. Eto yung medium sized poppers. Sila yung pinakamura kasi yung iba they are selling the same thing for 40 bucks. We also bought bubbles there. After that, we bought additional ribbons for our luminaries. We also bought shot glasses, tea light candles, additional Christmas lights and glue stick. It was very fruitful for we were able to buy everything by 10:30. Andun na rin yung team ng mga sisters ko. Complete na rin yung mga nabili nila. May curtains, hangers, pot holders, tong, atbp. We are so happy! We ate at blue wave afterwards.

M0rn1ng went home early kasi kailangan nya pumasok ng 7pm sa work. I also took a nap then went to the office. To work? Nah! Bad gurl ako…para scan yung baby pics namin ni M0rn1ng. Our AVP is on production na rin. My sister promised to make a flash AVP so hinihingi na nya yung mga pix.

We went to Park Square to buy our printer ink. I also saw a great looking pair of earrings. Yahuuuu! Meron na akong isusuot sa BIG day. Next stop is National Bookstore to buy the paper for the guest sheets. Oks din kasi I saw something there na perfect na gift for our female sponsors. Price is reasonable, ka-motiff and I’m sure our ninang will appreciate. =)

After that, sa SM naman ako napadpad. My sister told me that Wrap & Buttons has those fossilized leaves for our shot glasses. True enough, meron nga. Kakatuwa! That ended our day. Sobrang pagod pero happy sa dami ng accomplishments.
