CHEAPSKATE? Think again
Yesterday a workmate of mine sent me an email that made my heart skip a beat. It reads:
Come to Mommy Matters’ Clearance Sale! Up to 50% off a variety of styles of breastfeeding clothes!
August 18-19, 2006
Friday & Saturday
9am-5pm
This is the moment that i’ve been waiting for. I’ve been wanting to buy nursing wears for the longest time. It’s really hard to breastfeed in public with the normal blouses. You always risk having your precious boobs exposed in the open. Then you get that weird look from strangers, like you’re doing something offensive. Hahaha! I don’t get it. Women expose their boobs in national TV for entertainment and they get applauded while women who do the natural thing (like breastfeeding) get frowned. Ironic!
Anyways, there is nothing I love most than a good buy. That is why I usually wait for sales to buy things that we need. There is this sense of accomplishment and elation every time I realize that I got the item for a parcel of its original price. Cheapskate eh?! Not really. With the very high cost of living that we have nowadays, it pays to be frugal.
So with that, I definitely will grace that clearance sale.
(I’ll keep you posted on how it went)
