Crying over Spoiled Milk
I cried bucket of tears Sunday morning. If you are a working mom and expressing your milk to exclusively breastfeed your child, you’ll understand why.
We defrost our fridge once a week. Yaya did it Saturday night.
I woke up Sunday morning and discovered that the fridge is not turned ON. Nanlambot talaga ako kasi i have 60+ ozs of breastmilk stored. Not one survived the fateful incident and we have to throw away those 60 ozs…yes 60 ozs of liquid gold.
I was so angry that i cried and cried and cried. If you are expressing milk during your free time and office hours, you’ll understand my sentiments. Pero kahit umiyak ako ng umiyak wala na akong magagawa. I told yaya to always make sure the frige is cold enough bago ilagay yung milk. I hope she learns her lesson.
Kainis lang kasi B.Boy and I will be the one suffering the consequences. Mega effort na naman ako sa pag pump. Tapos for the past 4 days i’ve been going home during lunch time just to breastfeed.
Then i get those comments na…wag na daw ako maasar kasi accident lang naman daw yun. Haaaaaay! How could others comment things like that when they don’t know how it feels like to be in my shoes.
Buti na lang si M0rn1ng super supportive. He hugged and gave me encouraging words nung Sunday. He even brought B.Boy in the office last Monday to breastfeed.
Di bale…B.Boy and I will survive.

Sorry to hear about this. I want to exclusively breastfeed too and I know its tough but all worth it. Ask ko lang sana how do you breastfeed Andre when you’re at the mall or something?

Apols: I know you know kasi it happened to you on Milenyo’s aftermath.
Jacq: Glad to know your desire to breastfeed exclusively. You’re a rare breed.
On breastfeeding in public, i bought some nursing clothes from Mommy Matters. They had a Clearance Sale a few months ago and the blouses only costs 150 bucks. They also have a “fit at home” program wherein they’ll send you some clothes at home and you can just choose. I think that is quite convenient for busy moms like me. There are some items on sale too (30-75% off).
I also got in touch with Buding of Blissfulbabes kaya lang sa kanya i have to go to their place pa sa Valle Verde. Eh mejo hassle so I settled with Mommy Matters.
Let me know if you have questions ha.
