We Are Family

Yep, Vincent’s (my manager who’s based in HK) here again. I think being a remote manager poses a challenge…that you are not physically there to direct your team. This is the reason why he oten travels to Manila to check the team. I think this year he’s been here 5 times. For most of these trips he usually stays for a week. Also, modern technology helps. On the average he calls 4 times a day, sends IM messages every time he needs me and conducts conference calls once a week. Iba talaga sha. Even though he’s not here, monitored nya kami.

When he’s here he often treats me for lunch. Ok din kasi shempre libreng food, pero more often than not these are working lunches and we talk about projects or he sometimes discusses what needs to be improved in the team. He told me yesterday not to bring lunch because we’re going out. San kaya pwedeng kumain? Sa mahal na lang para pag nasabon ako…ok lang kasi masarap naman nakain ko.  Lol! 
So since he’ll be here until the end of the week, busy-busyhan muna ako. hahaha!  I might not be able to blog until the end of the week. That is kung busy talaga. I’ll miss you blog. Mwah!
