We Are Family

B.boy turned 9 months last Friday.   We went to the pedia for his well-baby check up today. Here are his current stats:

Weight: 22 lbs

Height: 30 in

His pedia said that he’s doing fine and his stats are pretty much same as a one year old. Way to go B.boy!
He also had his measles shot. Pedia said that he might have low grade fever in the following days due to this. We’ll have to give 1ml of Tempra to remedy. His next visit will be when turns a year old. I hope he doesn’t get sick so that we will not go back any time soon.

Here are some of the milestones he has achieved:

(1) He’s experiencing some sort of separation anxiety. A few months back, we’ve trained him to a lot of people so he doesn’t protest when carried by family members, neighbors and his nanny. However, he doesn’t want strangers…those people he has seen for the first time or those he seldom sees. Take for example our recent pedia trip. Before he doesn’t protest being held by the the doctor or by her assistant. Now he does. He cried a lot while the assistant was getting his measurements.

(2) He can now sit well independently.

(3) Responds to his own name. Eto talaga yung nakakaaliw! Whenever i go home, sumisilip ako sa window then i call his name. Nakakatuwa kasi lilingon talaga sha and hahanapin kung nasaan si Mommy. 
(4) He now has 4 teeth. Another one is in the pipeline.

(5) Says dadadadada, lalalalalalala, ikcht  :p  He also says “ummma” when he is crancky and wants his mommy.

(6) Can sit down after standing

(7) He also performs bye-bye, counts 1-5 and will repeat the act if applauded.

(8) He also loves playing, so much that he forgets his bedtime. I let him play until 10 pm but after that i tell him that it is now time to sleep. Sometimes he protests and will continue playing. If that’s the case i usually switch off the lights and nurse him. Mga 5 minutes lang tulog na sha.
