Florida

We’ve always wanted to visit Disneyland specifically the Disney World in Florida.  A few months back, accomodation is not a problem as my sister in law Vivian resides there.  But now that they transferred to California, we need to look for other options.  Good thing there are Florida rental vacation which is more practical than hotels.  Staying in vacation rentals allows you to cook and prepare your own meals.  That translates to big savings from eating out.  :)

Boracay Eats

It’s been 3 months but i haven’t finish blogging about our Bora experience.  I think i only need to do 2; Boracay Eats and another one for our experience in Boracay Tropics.  Please read on….

(Warning: I don’t have food pictures as i’m always busy feeding B.boy and myself. )

::: Cyma :::

We’ve already tried their Greenbelt branch and we are excited to try their main branch in Bora.  The joint is a bit difficult to find because it is tucked away in the corner.  I think it’s being secluded is good because a lot of celebrities eat there.  We chanced upon one when we were there.

We ordered the following:

Mezedes Combination P290 – Sampler appetizer composed of : Tzatziki, Melitzanosalata, Hummus, and htipiti. I love the hummus!

Greek Salad (To Share)  P360  – Really healthy and yummy.

Paidaka P495 -  Grilled lamb chops.

Pastisado (To share) P435  - Beef shank with spaghetti and red sauce.  We’ve ordered this before and it is my pesonal favorite.

Chicken Gyros P130  - You can ask them to cut it to 2 as the serving is big.  Very filling and mouthwatering.

We were all filled to the brim and left no room for dessert.  Sayang!  I was hoping to try their Flaming Mangoes pa naman.  Maybe next time.

:::Aria:::

If you’re looking for authentic Italian food in Bora then Aria is the place to be.  It is also located in D’mall but easier to lacote than Cyma because it is fronting the beach.

Their pizzas have thin and crunchy crust and their pastas are to die for.

 :::Jonah’s Shakes:::

They are all right.  Jonah’s have the best shakes in town.  My personal favorite is mango melon.  We went there as a large group and ordered different things then we tried each and everybody shakes and see what’s best tasting one.  :)

We also tried some isaw and grilled chorizo at the nearby stall.  B.boy loved the choris.  :)

:::Ramboy’s:::

This is pretty much like Andok’s but their liempo is to die for.  We love it so much and i wish they have a branch here in Manila.

Supplies

Now that we have a small business running for 2 months, we’re realized the importance of having office supplies handy.  M0rn1ng was making panwiches this morning and he ran out of staple wires.  He’s using that to seal the brown paper bags that contains the panwiches.  Good thing our neighbor lent us his stapler.  M0rn1ng decided to stock up on office supplies that we need: brown paper bags, pentel pens, staple wires, notebooks, paper and ball pens.

It always pays to be ready at all times.  :)

Tsinita Panwiches

Selling our panwiches in our office has proved to be a good move.  We started with 5-8 orders a day and after 2 weeks it grew to 32 orders.  M0rn1ng bought me a bigger container as it did not fit my usual thermal bags anymore.  By the way, do you have any idea where we could buy those big thermal bags?  We’re looking for something like the delivery bag of Mc Donald’s.

M0rn1ng made a flyer that helped to boost our sales.  Now i believe that pictures are worth a thousand words.  You can view the flyer here

Before, i would only get orders for breakfast and bring it with me when i come in for work.  Now, we also have orders during merienda time so M0rn1ng has to come here and deliver.  I hope our sales continue to grow so that we can reach our targets every month.   :)
