No thanks.  I don’t fit the bill.  I’ve never imagined myself garbed in white with littman stethoscope hanging in my neck.  Just the mere sight of blood, internal organs and injections are enough for me to faint.  My memory wasn’t that good too.  I will not be able to remember all those medical terms and would perhaps flunk in any medical school.  And i would be able to get over if one of my patient dies.  I’m not emotionally capable of handling things like that.

Don’t get me wrong, being a doctor is one of the noblest profession there is.  It’s just that i’m not fit to be one.   :)

Just look at him, a baby no longer.    He’ll go to school eventually, have his own set of friends, have his own life and leave us.  waaaaaah!   Can we just let time stand still?  Anyway, he loves to have his picture taken and make those silly faces infront of the camera.  These were all taken last week-end on our Circuit Assembly in Novaliches.

We are so proud because he was well-behaved during sessions.  We were able to listen to talks because he cooperated and just stayed in his seat.  He occasionally plays and looks at the book but we know that he’s listening as when he heard the speaker said “aso” he replied “bow-wow-wow”.   hahaha!  I know he made Jehovah God happy.

Papa decided to stop working abroad after 8 long years.  Together with his brothers they put up a hardware in Ilocos.  At first we were afraid of what his decision will bring.  Businesses are rarely a sure thing but Mama supported his endeavors and we, siblings understood that we should support him too.  This is when we should stick together as a family.

God is good because that business has been able to send us all to college and it is still going strong for the past 13 years.  Yet, it wasn’t smooth sailing all the time.  There was a time when my sister and i looked high and low for a guarantor so that we can loan our tuition fees.  There are times when our delivery trucks has to be repaired and we don’t have money to buy parts and  auto accessories.  It’s tough but Papa and Mama persevered and i salute them for their efforts.  I hope M0rn1ng and i could follow their footsteps.
