Sister had this brought from the US and it’s finally here.  We’re so excited to have it home and make butingting.  hehehe.  It was bought during the 4th of July sale and my sister said it is sold double it’s price here.  Hati kami sa cost.

Our old desktop will be used by Papa so we’re going to send it to Ilocos.

 I received a text from Papa last week and he said he’s giving me his new phone.  They don’t have any 3G there yet so sayang lang daw yung features nung new phone nya.  Kakahiya kunin but if he does insists, who am i to refuse.  hahaha!

Wow a new free phone!  I’m so blessed.  Sana lang maingatan ko to.  I’ve been very notorious on losing mobile phones.  Thank you so much Papa!  I love you.

Words of wisdom from Optimus Prime. 

As i’ve written in my previous post, we are supposed to watch Transformers last Friday.  Morning went with B.boy and i met them there after work.  Kalungkot lang kasi wala na sha dun.  The 3 cinemas are showing Harry Potter and the other Die Hard.  Eh ayaw naman namin nung 2 movies so we just decided to have merienda at Jollibee.  B.boy had fun at Dave’s funhouse while i did the groceries. 

We planned to go to Glorietta the next day since we want to watch it so badly.  Plan namin pag nag afternoon nap si B.boy saka kami pupunta.  Kaya lang i was so tired that day and B.boy didn’t give me decent sleep so i was napping with B.boy in the afternoon.  M0rn1ng was disappointed because the movie will start in 45 mins and i’m still sleeping.  Ako naman grumpy because half of me wants to rest and half of me wants to go watch a movie.  Ewan….minsan di ko rin maintindihan sarili ko.  I got ready and Morning was hurrying me.  So ayun…nakasimangot ako the whole taxi ride.

The queue was long when we got there.  Sold out na rin lahat ng tickets for 1:45 showing.  Pero we decided to stand up na lang king walang seats.  Di na pwede yung next showing kasi may lakad pa kasi kami after that.  After a few minutes we got our tickets and entered the cinema.  Good thing, 2 seats were vacated so we were able to take a seat.  Ganda pa ng location namin.

Astig talaga nung nagtransform na yung mga Autobots!  I can relate kasi i used to watched them when i was a child.  I even played with those robots tapos may kasama pang make-believe dialogues.  There are loopholes in the script pero ang galing talaga ng effects.  As in wow! So never mind the script.  I enjoyed the movie despite na muntik na di kami natuloy.  As Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots said :  No Sacrifice No Victory.

A few months back, we were offered to purchase child insurance.  Yup, you read it right an insurance for our son Andre.  I was surprised that they are offering a thing like this before as i thought insurance are only for income earners or those who have dependents.  Their selling is point is low price and great benefits.  But is it really worth it? 

The agent told us that we could view it as both investment and protection.  We could use the money to send B.boy to school later on.  How about you?  What are your thoughts about child insurance?  Is it really necessary?

A lot of my officemates and friends are amazed that i’m back to my pre-pragnancy shape in just 3 months.  I’m even slimmer now than when i got married but i still eat like a pregnant woman.  I tell them that it’s one of the benefits of breastfeeding.  Other than that,  i also have a fast metabolism so i don’t gain a pound even i eat a lot.  My mama is like that too.  She’s still slim even after giving birth to 3 children. 

There are a lot of weight loss pills out in the market that promises faster metabolism.  However, we should also be wary and read the labels carefully. Make sure it doesn’t contain any Ephedra.  That substance has known adverse effects such as heart attack, stroke and death.  On the safe side, take only those recommended by your physician.

I’m quite surprised because i never thought i am fun, happy, and bubbly person.  Maybe it’s because i have a not so serious outlook in things.  Like if there’s something wrong, laughter is the best cure.   :p  I’ve never been good in giving advices anyway.  Katakot kasi and i always think others have a better opinion than i.  So the best that i can give is FUN.  Afterall, laughter is the best medicine.
