Canada

Canada is another great place to visit. Some of the nice places to see are Niagara, Banff, Calgary and Whistler. Niagara Falls is really magnificent and I hope we would be able to see it someday. Skiing is something M0rn1ng and I would like to do. I’ve seen the photos and Whistler has the best ski facilities. Vancouver is also the place to be to watch the Olympics in 2010.

There are many sites offering affordable Flights to Canada. Dialaflight is one of them. They are offering several packages like Ski Whistler, Toronto and Niagara Falls,Grizzly Bear and Wildlife Watching, The BS Experience, Quebec City and Spa, Ranching & Shopping, Hike the West Coast Trail, and The beauty of Banff. These packages include airfare, transfers, accommodation and tours for some. Tailor-made packages are also welcomed so that client’s can get their dream holidays come true.

If you are interested feel free to visit their site at www.dialaflight.com. You can search for flights, hotels, car rentals and travel ideas. I find the Holiday Ideas very useful as it gives insight on what kind of holiday you need. Whether you are in for weekend breaks or Tropical holidays, the site has a large variety of suggestions.

I will also let my sister know if this as she is traveling to Denmark this Friday. She might want to go on a holiday on neighboring countries during the weekend and this website is a very good place to help her get started.

Brushing toddler’s teeth

I received a very timely email today from Baby Center. The Subject caught my attention instantly. It says “Ending Tooth brushing Battles”. We are currently having a difficult time brushing B.boy’s teeth. Most of the times he clenches his mouth closed. Sometimes we succeed using gauze on our fingertips but the problem on that is he oftentimes bites.

I read the whole article and I found some innovative ways to clean his teeth. I’m sharing some of it here in the hope that other parents would find it useful too:

  1. Tip him backwards so that he is almost upside down. Once he laughs, you are sure of an open mouth and you free to brush the teeth.
  2. Let your toddler brush your teeth while you brush his.
  3. Wait until he falls asleep and gently slide a pinky wrapped in wet washcloth.
  4. Use a motorized / electric toothbrush.

I will definitely try #1 tonight. He loves our game of tipping him backwards until he’s upside down. He will laugh and open his mouth wide and we can brush his teeth. If it doesn’t work I will try the other tips. The important thing is having it cleaned regularly so that he will have healthy gums and teeth.
