Our friend who has a 7-year-old child relates that she is having a hard time helping with her daughter’s schoolwork. She said that schooling is very different today than the past generations where we don’t have that many subjects in school. She said sometimes her daughter would ask her questions about the things they discuss in school and she honestly don’t know the answer.

I was reflecting after our conversation and I thought I would probably feel the same if am in her shoe. I almost forgot everything I learned in school. I may recall some of it most especially in the math area but on the other subjects? Well, I’m good as a blank page.
