Nappy Talk

I’m so happy to spot a bargain last Saturday when we did the groceries. Pampers XL pack of 18 is on Sale. If you buy 2 packs, you’ll get one pack free. That’s good savings so I got all the available packs that are on sale. Yes, I went diaper crazy. Hehehe. I think our supply will last for one and half months to two months.

I also bought B.boy trainer pants yesterday. I was so inspired with moms who have kids as old as my son. They are already starting their potty training. Their first step is to rid of nappies at some hours of the day. This will allow the child to recognize the feeling of wetness that will speed up the process of training.

I’m not really hurrying but if he is responsive then I might go full blast with it. If not then maybe he isn’t ready yet. We are teaching him to say “wiwi” for pee and “pupu” for bowel movements. Mom in law also bought him a potty trainer that he could use. So I think we got everything we need.

Let’s see how it goes. If he’s going to be diaper free soon then it will translate to really BIG savings.   :)

Leaving on a Jet Plane

One of my officemates just got her VL approved. She will be gone for 3 weeks because she and her family will go to US, in Orlando specifically. I am so thrilled for her because there are a lot of nice places that they can visit while they are there.

Since they do not have any relatives near the area, they are searching for a place to stay. I’m suggesting that they try orlando vacation rentals. This is perfect because they are traveling as a group. They can cook their own meals, and they will enjoy privacy like that of their own home. Orlando.Com has also the needed information on places to visit, dining places, and nightlife. I’m pretty sure they will find this beneficial for their upcoming trip.

Japorms

Our little guy loves to pose for picture taking. He usually does his signature “pa-cute” tricks whenever we aim the camera at him. What makes him more game are the praises he receives from us, telling him that he’s so adorable and good looking. We even got him to wear shades that way. Hahaha! :p

Help for Teens

Teenage years are the rockiest part of one’s life. During these time, young ones face new feelings and emotions which they may often find themselves to inexperienced to handle. Without proper guidance, they can easily fall into destructive forms of behavior. I’ve seen a lot of peers during my high school years that got pregnant before graduation, some got into drinking and worse some were into drugs.

Parents have the foremost responsibility of providing guidance at this crucial time. There are a lot of sites over the internet that provides valuable resource to deal with teen problems.

Teens need the help they could have to get by. I know because I’ve passed that stage too. I couldn’t have dealt with the problems successfully without their kind guidance and support.

Visit Mexico

I’ve been intrigued with Mexico ever since the Marimar fever hit the airwaves. I just loved their beaches. And recently while looking for nice places to stay there over the net, I’ve stumbled upon a very nice hotel called Karisma. This hotel is situated on the secluded white-sand beach of Riviera Maya, perfect for the beach lover in me and hubby.

What attracted me more with this hotel is that it offers what they call “Gourmet Inclusive” concept. Karisma has none of those buffet tables that other hotels take pride of. Their delicious meals are served on sit-down locales and great looking bars. That provides better ambiance which is a plus for any fine dining experience.

Hmmm, makes me want to book a Mexico Vacation now.
