Nice Business Idea

Do you dream to be your own boss? I do and I hope to make it a reality one of these days. The reason why I still hang on to my job is because hubby’s business is still on its early age and thus not that stable yet. We need the income from my job to provide the needed security. But once we reap the fruits of his earnest efforts then I might be able to resign and have my own business.

One business that I like to take on is vending machine, you know the one like multivend has. It is easy to operate and I think the key is just finding the right location. According to their site bulk vending machines are 100% cash business and can provide up to an 80% profit margin. It opens the opportunity to work at the convenience of our home and at my own time.

This is truly great! I hope my plans materialize as I want to have more time to take care of little boy and hubby.

The little boy who loves Tomatoes

dsc01110.JPGB.boy loves munching tomatoes. His love affair with that fruit started when he was around nine months old. He was teething and to relieve the pain I give him cold tomatoes to munch on.

Now, whenever there are tomatoes on the table he must grab and eat them. But he only likes them raw. Its appeal on him dwindles as soon it’s cooked. Hahaha! Anyway, tomatoes are good for one’s health so I just let him be.

Let me Have a View…

I was tagged by Yen. This is originally from iRonnie Blog, He said:

Most people spend a considerable amount of time in customizing or in finding a desktop wallpaper that suits their taste. Sadly, our computers often remains personal.

Why don’t we brag to the world our good-find wallpapers and let them have a peek to our personality via our desktops?”

So upon Yen’s prodding, here is my desktop.

You might be wondering why you’re seeing double.  That’s because i have dual monitors at work.  :)  I love having two monitors because it helps on multi tasking.  Anyway, that’s me and B.boy as screensaver.   That was taken last April at Boracay Tropics.

Now let’s see who to tag:  ToniJoy , JennyR, and Amore.

Looking for Appliances

Do you do online shopping? I do but only 30% of the time. I still like going to the stores and look at the actual item. What I do mostly is research on specific products that I want to buy, compare the specs and price. Most of these researches are done with the help of search engines.

Krillion is one such website. Its advantage over the other search engines is that it scours the Web to find, integrate and present actionable local search results for the ready-to-buy consumer. Its results are a combination of specific product information with specific locality information. That means it saves a lot of time. What I can search, I can actually go to the shop and buy.

So use this if you’re on a lookout for a nice Frigidaire Refrigerators or any household appliance.

Nice Matters Award

nice-matters-award.jpgThank you so much Toni for giving me this award. My, my, I’m very flattered. I don’t know if I truly deserve this but if you insist, I’ll take it. Hahahaha!

As per rules, the Nice Matters Award goes out to

Those who are just nice people, good blog friends, and those who inspire good feelings and inspiration! Those who care about others, who are there to lend support, or those who are just a positive influence in our blogging world.

The award says:

I also visit nice’s blog if not everyday, at least thrice a week. I also love reading her posts and admire her for being business-minded. They have panwich and now diaper cakes. I also like her stories on their cute son, Andre. :)

Now on spreading the love, I give this same blog award to those blogs I find inspiring. Here they are. Drum roll please.

Dang of My Married Life. - She writes well and her posts are usually optimistic and inspiring. I love reading about her married life and how she absolutely adores her son M.

Litzie of simplydeelytz.com - I admire her courage for braving through the difficult pregnancy and caring for a colicky newborn. She’s a very good mother who knows how to nurture a child. She also does beautiful scraps.

Nyree of Randomness - This lady writes really inspiring and thought provoking posts. She’s also very sweet and radiates happiness like sunshine.

Mighty Proud with my Cook

I hadn’t been able to cook dinner for the past few weeks that I am busy at work. Our resident cook, my sister is also busy with school work that she is unable to make dinner too. Good thing we can rely with hubby. He’s been doing the cooking and we don’t have to rely on expensive take-outs.

I’m so proud of him because before, all he knows is to cook breakfast. Now he knows how to whip a very nice tinola, spare ribs with black beans, laing, calderetang manok, sautéed veggies, adobo and many more. I just tell him what to do over the phone and he can do it very nicely.

I’m so blessed to have a husband willing to share the household work. It makes my load lighter and I feel so loved and well taken cared of.   :)

Boost your Career

Looking for a new job? If you feel like you are on the rut in your existing work, why not seek greener pastures? But where do you find a better one you may ask? Try the executive recruiting firms. Most of their websites display posts waiting to be filled. Who knows you might fit the bill.

I’ve always want to be hired through such recruiting firms because they have the knowledge to hire someone who is the best fit to the job requirements. They also have incorporated a search function in their websites that enables you to look for jobs that you may be interested to apply. This is really perfect if you really want a career boost.

So why not seek greener pastures if you feel you are qualified to take more responsibilities and would like to climb the corporate ladder? A dream would only be a dream unless you do something about it.

Achoo!

The poor little boy has colds. It started Friday night when I noticed that he’s got runny nose. He is still very active but he seems to be a slightly sensitive. Like last Saturday when he cried when he was carried by somebody from the congregation. He didn’t protests before but he did at that moment. He doesn’t want to be carried by strangers again and he only wants mommy most of the time.

We also cancelled his scheduled visit to his pedia. He’s due to have a 5-in-1 vaccine but they cannot administer since he is not well. I hope he gets well soon. I reminded hubby not to forget giving him medicines. I cannot rely on yaya because she is very forgetful. Which reminds me to call home and check if they did gave him his needed dose.
