We Are Family

Our garage has been full of unnecessary things that make it like a messy storeroom. We’ve been meaning to de-clutter it next month to have extra space. We needed an extra space badly because of our cramped house. We will rid of stuff that we don’t use by having a garage sale. Once done, we will organize the remaining items in cabinets called garage storage. I hope we can have a place for everything and everything in its place soon.

As promised here are some of the photos from youngest sister’s function, Banchetta. It was held at the UP CHE Tea Room. It was well decorated and their team did a good job in creating a nice ambiance. They even hired a violinist to serenade the diners.

The food was great. We all felt stuffed to the max.

Here’s the bruschetta with cold cuts and vegetable soup.

Next, they served this fresh salad and great tasting sherbet.  The little boy loved the sherbet that he finished my share.

We had penne pasta and chicken fillet with basil as our main entree.  Then they had a flambee when they did their crepe for dessert.

We capped the evening with a very nice tasting english tea.  ahhhh! Busog.

Since I’ll be receiving my 13th month soon, I’m thinking of what to buy for papa. I’m thinking of getting him a garage metal cabinets like the one you can see here in the picture. It is perfect for his garage so that he can organize his tools and keep them in a proper place. Mama is always complaining for the mess that papa makes so this gift will also make mama very happy.

Then I can also buy him additional tools so that he will be inspired to fix things. Currently, he is learning auto mechanics so that he can help in fixing his delivery trucks when they get busted. I’m sure he will love this gift.

It’s already October, I can’t believe it! Time really flies. I’m so happy because we are 2 months shy of getting our 13th month pay. We will also be celebrating our 4th year anniversary on the 23rd and we are looking forward to our lunch date at Antonio’s. I’m planning to take a 3 days leave starting on the 24th. I was looking at my attendance monitoring form last week and realized that I still have a lot of vacation leaves remaining. So I’m starting to utilize them.

What made me happy this morning is the email notification from Meralco. Our bill is slowly dropping. It is 14.74% down compared last month and a whopping 41.13% less compared to the month of July. It is indeed a great savings. The cold weather helps in lessening our air con consumption I hope it still continues to drop more.
