We Are Family

I first discovered blogging when we we’re preparing for our wedding way back 2004. I used it to document our wedding preps. It was nice because I had a place to post my thoughts and I’ve gained a lot of online friends. After the wedding I cannot stop simply because I’ve been addicted to it. So I continued journaling our everyday experiences as newlywed.

When I got pregnant, I found myself posting less and less. I’ve had a difficult pregnancy and I feel too lazy to write. However, I went full blast again after giving birth. So this blog has quite a long history, 3 years to be exact.

I started on paid blogging 4 months ago. I noticed that a lot of my blogger friends are into it and thought that it’s a good way to earn additional money. One of the very first paid blogging site I submitted my blog to is payperpost. They had a lot of opportunities compared to other sites. This is true especially if your blog has good traffic and high PR. Since I love writing, I also loved doing their opps. For me this is a hobby that lets me earn money. We are not talking small amounts here as I’ve earned a substantial amount for the past 4 months. I’m so happy. 

Those earnings will be our savings for this year. Hubby and I are glad because the income we have now is just enough for the monthly expenses. With PPP, we had a chance to put in something to our savings account.
