I was reading a back issue of Working Mom which tackles buying condos as investment. Some buy them and have them rented out which pays off the monthly amortizations. I think it is a very good idea especially if the condo is from a very good developer.

My boss who is based in HK is also interested in buying properties here. I think the best for him are the Condo Hotels. That way he won’t have to worry for rentals administration. Then he can have a place to stay when he is here.

How about you? Do you think Condos / Condotels are good investments?

Feng’s recent post reminds me of one pose B.boy did which was captured by the camera. My officemates were teasing me that he has the makings of a gay in that particular picture. I was laughing with them and have to agree na mukha nga shang bading sa pose na yun. Want to take a look? Tada!

It’s not easy getting secured loans. Three years ago, my dad had to obtain one from the bank to expand his business operations. Tight competition is slowly eating away our sales so he decided to put up another branch. The bank did a thorough check on dad’s capacity to pay and our house and lot we’re given as collateral. That is how tough it is to obtain loans that involve a large amount of money. I hope his business continue to do well so that he can pay off the debt.

Unsecured loans like personal loans on the other hand are easier to obtain. Lenders say these loans are often the only option available for those with bad credit and couldn’t obtain loans from the bank.
