We Are Family

Love is more than just hearts and flowers
and romance,
more than candlelit dinners and dancing,
more than walks in the park
and moments of intimate sharing…
Love lasts beyond those initial stages.
It is understanding
through the difficult times,
caring part the disagreements.
It’s laughing together when things are good,
or laughing together to keep from crying
when things couldn’t seem
to go more wrong
It is patience and compassion,

Daddy,

Thank you for your unconditional love. Though I love receiving gifts and flowers sweep me off my feet, it is what you do everyday that makes me fall in love the more. Those morning kisses, those hugs when everything seems to fall apart, cooking dinner to spare me from doing it because I’m tired, the frequent massages when I’m stressed out, saying sorry to patch things up, all of them I appreciate….all of them I hold dear to my heart. It just speaks “I Love You” in many ways you can imagine.

Happy 5 years of togetherness to US. I love you more and more each day. Mwah!
