Banking this last day of Oct
I just got back from the bank and as expected there are a lot of people. There will be a long weekend coming up and everyone needs to finish their transactions. It took me 45 minutes to line up and be served. I hope BPI could just implement a numbering system instead of having physical long and winding queues. This will really save me time as I can go back at my desk and work and come back later instead of waiting in the line and doing nothing. You see the bank is just at the ground floor of our office building and I regularly go there to pay our apartment rental.
The good thing is, our company transferred our payroll to BPI and starting next month we will receive our salary there. Now all I have to do is enroll our landlord’s account so that I can pay via BPI express online. However, there’s bad news too. I was informed that Citibank is not part of their merchants so I can’t pay online. That’s a lot of hassle because previously I pay everything via bancnetonline. No lines and no long idle wait. I can do it even at home. I don’t miss any payments. I even enrolled every bill that I could pay through Citibank so that I will only pay one merchant online. Now that’s my problem since BPI doesn’t support Citibank. Waaaaaah! I have to withdraw and pay through LBC.
I’m going to miss Bancnet. Any bright tips out there?

Well i’m a regular user of BPI’s expressonline and i can say that it made my life so easier. i pay my Globe handyphone bills, BPI credit cards and make funds transfers from salary to checking accounts. Before when i used to have credit cards which were not BPI clients (i think it was Standard Chartered), it was really a hassle ‘coz i have to pay thru SCB talaga. It would really be better if BPI can accomodate additional clients that are currently not in their list. I suggest, if you can, ‘migrate’ your accounts to BPI para less hassle. BPI has an efficient online banking system and I can attest to that (dapat may bayad na BPI sakin nito hehehe!)

Thanks for that Wendy kasi parang naninibago ako dahil ok na ok sa akin yung bancnetonline for everything i need.
Sana na nga ok yung Citibank sa kanila kasi loyal ako sa Citibank eh.

nice, the best talaga ang bancnet online. i also pay ALL of my bills there (save for my association and insurance dues). super dali at walang hassle. kasi with bpi, i think you have to enroll pa di ba?

I agree kelly…walang enrollment sa bancnet online and you can do it anytime without leaving home or office. Iniisip ko pa best way to pay my bills at the moment.
