The little boy is sick. We rushed him at Makati Med ER this morning because he was vomiting and has a slight fever. He started vomiting around 12am then followed by another one after an hour. Good thing he was able to sleep after that. However he started vomiting again when he woke up in the morning. It happened twice and since he is feverish, we decided to let the doctors take a look.

I called the office and informed them that I can’t report to work today. Good thing there aren’t many patients when we arrived. The doctor started oral hydration but the little boy refused to cooperate. They also wanted to get urine sample but they failed because the urine did not flow properly at the bag that’s suppose to catch it. The doctor wanted to test it because sometimes vomiting with fever can be a sign of UTI.

Since he didn’t want to drink hydrite, I asked for syringe and dropped it in his mouth little by little. Thankfully he did not vomit anymore but he still has fever. I hope he feels better soon. If not we will have to go to his pedia tomorrow.
