I love taking vacations. So when i saw this at JennyL’s blog, i decided to snag it. hehehe

1. When was the last time you went on vacation (where a vacation means time away from work/school and not at home)?
~Last week of October. We just went to Tagaytay to celebrate our anniversary.

2. When on vacation, are you more likely to do and see as many things as possible or kick back and watch the world go by?
~It would be the first one. Before we go to a new place, we list out the things that we want to do, places that we want to visit and restaurants that we want to try out.

~ Both. I love sight seeing and shopping.

~Anywhere na may beach, perfect yun.

~None. I love going to different places and it gives me a different high.

An elderly friend is looking to buy insurance. She said she regrets that she hadn’t bought one for herself when she was younger. Now that she has a family, she realized how important it is to get one. However, she fears that she will be denied if they will look at medical exams results. She’s healthy as far as she knows but she’s now in her 50s and chances are she may have a disease that she doesn’t know of. So told me that she got an offer and it says “life insurance no medical exam needed”.

She’s looking at the proposal and studying if it is the one she’s looking for. I hope she finds something that fits her needs.

That’s how he says “opo”. “Opo” is a polite way of saying yes to an older person. I think this is a very good Filipino value to teach our son. It’s always nice to hear children say this at it shows respect to their elders.

We recently taught B.boy to say Opo but he couldn’t pronounce the vowel without any consonant so he pronounces it as Popo. Hahaha! It’s just so nice to hear him say it especially when we reprimand him. Take for example our recent conversation a while ago:

Me: B.boy, please behave at the Kingdom Hall. We are here to listen and study the Bible not play. We will walk around as soon as the session is finished okay?

B.boy: Popo

Hahaha! And yes, nadadaan sha sa pakiusap. We are so proud.

I have a friend who would go to US soon. She’s very excited because they are going to drop by at Vegas. It has been her dream to see that place ever since. Yes, you’ve read it right. She asked permission yesterday morning as her mom will soon go back to Ilocos. Her mom went here because her sister in Caloocan recently gave birth and she helped them out.

I was a bit annoyed because this yaya has a habit of asking leave on the day itself. She didn’t even have the courtesy to ask for it a few days ahead. So I warned her that she is not allowed to go on leave if she did not give days notice. Haaaay! Minsan nakakainis din makitungo sa mga househelp.

Good thing that B.boy is easy to take care even when he’s sick. He is his usual jolly self. Malakas din ang immune system nya kahit papaano. I just don’t want to leave him because I want to monitor his poop. Yesterday, he had 4 bowel movements. And I want to make sure that he is hydrated and drinks his medicines on time.

I hope he is better now as M0rn1ng plans to dine out in the evening. I hope the house help come back on the agreed time too. Sometimes she has this habit of coming back late. I hope this day would be great. Have a good Sunday everyone!
