Baby Stuff

One of my friends is an expectant mom. She’s already in her 6th month of the pregnancy and she’s starting to baby some baby stuff. I can still recall how happy we were when we started buying thing for our baby back then. She also wanted to breastfeed her child and she asks on what breastfeeding supplies she should get. Since she’s based in the UK, I showed her a good site called tommeetippee.com.uk. It has a wide range of breastfeeding supplies, from manual pumps to breast milk storage bottles. I told her to look at those because she also planned on going back to work a few months after giving birth. So she has to really find a good and reliable breast pump and a lot of breast milk storage bottles. I think I used around 20 4 ounces bottles when B.boy was still a few months old.

I also loved the weaning supplies in that site too. I specifically loved the Magic Grripper mat that will avoid slips and mess for young eaters like my son. I also told her to get some of the food pots and lids as it will come handy once she start feeding solids. She can cook in batches and freeze them in these containers for everyday consumption. It is better to cook food at home than buy those artificially prepared in jars.

I hope she finds my suggestions useful.

Vroom Vroom!

This is one of B.boy’s favorite toy. :) He loves to pretend driving it around and even gives out a loud vroom vroom and beep beep sound. Sometime he asks me to ride and when I ask him where we will go he will say either fountain, dagat, MOA, Bab-bee (Jollibee) or Pis (Office). He is really funny.

Does he look like a good driver?

PC Upgrade

My sister bought a new laptop this year. It was great because we can bring it anywhere and this means that we can work anywhere too. We have an old desktop and my dad asked if he can have it since we have a new PC. My sister did a few upgrades here and there and she said that as soon as she upgrades the IBM memory then it will be good for their business use. I’m sure my dad would be happy.

I Feel A lot Better

There is always sunshine after the storm. I feel a lot better now. I’ve finished the self assessment and the stakeholder reviews on time. Good thing, I can access all the systems at home. I did it all at my bed. I’m so happy because I’ve finished it all in just 2 hours.

Thank goodness for the monthly reports that kept track of all what I did during the year. I hope my boss will give me a good review as it ties with the compensation they will give next year.

I also finished packing all our clothes and we’re ready to go to Ilocos tomorrow. I just need to do some of the assignments as I won’t be able to blog when were there. Baka magalit yung mga nagbigay ng assignments kung di ko magawa in due time.

I hoping for the best and I hope we can relax and unwind on our vacation.

Where to Celebrate Next Year

We’re trying to remember where we spent our 2nd year anniversary last May. We couldn’t remember. It was funny because it wasn’t memorable at all. We don’t have money that time because a lot of our funds went when we bought our panwich stall. We bought that on the month of May and that explains why we don’t have enough money to have a decent celebration. We just went to Itallianis because I have a discount coupon. But we were disappointed because the coupon is just a mere marketing trick. Hah!

We promised ourselves to have a memorable celebration next May. An out of town celebration would be good. It would be even better if it would be a vacation in Kauai. It is a perfect place because it is summer and M0rn1ng and I are both beach lovers. I’ve been looking at Kauai vacation rentals and it seems to be a good option basing on cost. The articles in the Kauai Travel Blog is very enticing. I even found good tips in aWhat to Do in Kauai article.

If we have enough budget, we will definitely go for that kind of vacation that we will never forget.

Bummer

This past few days is such a bummer. In my previous post, I rant about not getting enough sleep because the little boy is not feeling well. The body, can only take enough before it finally breaks down. I’m sick and this is no time for me to be one. I have a self assessment and stakeholder review due COB today and I can’t report to work because I have a flu. I’m not sure if we can extend the deadline. My boss said he’s going to talk to HR. But I will try to finish what I can here at home. At least here, I can lay down and rest when I need to.

It’s really frustrating to have your hands tied when you need to do a lot of things. I still need to pack our things for we are going to Laoag tomorrow. It can’t be cancelled because we already have our airline tickets. And our e-tickets are at my office mailbox. I need somebody to email it to my yahoo addy. And I can’t find anybody nice enough to do it for me.

Haaay! Lots of things to be done but I’m not in the position to do it. My whole body aches, my head aches, my throat aches. Just allow me to rant, this is not the best of days. In fact it sucks and i feel so sad and helpless.
