We attended the last wedding for the month of January last Saturday. It was held at Sanctuario de San Antonio and reception follows at Mandarin.
The groom is my college friend and although we’ve parted ways after graduation, YM has kept us in touch. We usually chat about his relationship. It’s more like on asking for a girl’s opinion part. Hahaha! I was ecstatic when he said that he’s going to propose. I even suggested that he do it at Antonio’s Tagaytay, which he did. He even showed me the engagement ring he is planning to give and asked my opinion on which is better.
I was so happy when they began preparing for their wedding. He would oftentimes ask for feedback about suppliers and I am more than happy to give my two cents worth.
It was the first time that I saw my friend after eight long years. He looks dashing in his barong tagalog and the elegant bride is entering the ball room beside him. I am happy for them.

The wedding really grand and you can see that from the strings, the cake, the gowns, the photographers, they even got RJ Ledesma to host their wedding. It was even made memorable by the greetings sent by their relatives abroad who couldn’t make it to their wedding. One of the groom’s cousin rendered a song number and I like her rendition of The Prayer.

Congratulations Rundell and Lyne! May your nest be filled with joy.

I was talking to my friend Amore and she excitedly telling me on how she save money on insurance. I believe in getting insurance so that those I’ll leave behind will not have a hard time. It’s part of being prepared when the inevitable happens.
I was glad that there is a way to reduce premiums. I was oftentimes put off with the high quarterly payments that I have to pay so I really took time to find the best insurance to buy.
It is best to scout for quoting insurance services and see which one fits your needs. Take a look at the quotes, the premiums and the coverage. This will all help us in determining on what type of insurance policy we would be getting.

When I first entered in a relationship, I was looking for a whole-hearted commitment. I’ve seen a lot of relationship fail because this is lacking. They simply give up when tough times occur rather than thoroughly looking at other options to have the problem solved.
I think it is the key element besides love that will hold our bond when we are at the toughest point of the relationship. I was fortunate enough to meet and fall in love with someone who is committed in our relationship. We’ve been into rocky situations during our three years of bf-gf stage but we saw it through.
Commitment can be likened to a push pull connector. It is a type of cable interconnect that provides a strong locking mechanism that is only released by squeezing the connecting body. This prevents it from accidental disconnects. The same is true for commitments. If we honor it, it will keep the relationship intact despite adversities and trials.
M0rn1ng had been out of work for almost a year when we were still dating. It was a tough situation because finding a job is so hard. Add up to that are the numerous criticisms that you hear from other people on why your boyfriend doesn’t have a job. It is easy to ignore at first but as the situation lingers, you find the situation hard to endure. It is easy to get impatient as disappointments come after another disappointment.
Good thing M0rn1ng doesn’t wallow on self pity and has full faith in God that he will eventually find a job and he did find a job after one and half year of searching. There was a time that I wanted to give up that I grew tired of supporting him against unwelcomed comments from friends. But he always reminds me to have patience on our relationship and we will see it through. And we did!
It was a test of commitment and we passed. It left a lesson we carried on to our married life. During our wedding vows, we promised to stick with each other no matter what and we intend to keep that promise made infront of God and others.

I’ve been seeing the following messages on some of my friend’s blog lately:
Best Thing Found: Zenni Optical
Great Discovery: Zenni Optical
I’m intrigued on what it has to offer so I decide to visit the site and take a look. I was surprised to see this Zenni Optical $8 Rx Glasses.

It looks great and sturdy yet the price is so reasonable. I suggest you visit the site for your optical needs.

There are a lot of investments one can make. They can put money on stock market, some invest on mutual funds, others on futures and options, while others on FOREX. What intrigues me most is investing on futures. I’ve been reading a lot about it but I’m not sure if it is offered in our country and if it possible for me to find a futures broker.
Money is always hard earned so I believe in putting them somewhere to generate income rather than use it to buy some stuff that we will not be using after a year or so.

One of my goals this year is better health. Since I’ve always been busy it is a challenge to find time to exercise eventhough i feel the need for it. Our company holds taebo twice a week in our building but I never got the chance to join because of work and home obligations.
So i’m thinking of getting machines so that I could exercise at home. A lot of people swear by how effective ellipticals are. So I’m looking into that too.
I hope I get sick less this year. I want better health this year please.

We all want to watch our weights and be fit right? For some losing weight is a big ordeal. But how do you lose those pounds even without those diet pills? Here are some ways:
Don’t skip breakfast! Hunger and a feeling of deprivation get the best of you. You’ll tend to load up on food—and calories—late in the day.
Drink a large glass of water before each meal. This will fill your stomach. Drinking adequate amounts of water also appears to play a role in reducing body-fat deposits. Doctors therefore recommend drinking at least eight glasses of water a day.
Don’t eat and watch TV. If you are busy watching TV . . . , you [can] begin eating like a machine.
Eat slowly. It takes about 20 minutes for the stomach to signal the brain that it is full. Eating slowly will thus help you to “eat to satisfaction,” but no more!
Find healthy alternatives to eating—especially if you have been in the habit of eating whenever you are bored, tense, lonely, or depressed. Talk to someone you trust. Go for a walk, or exercise. Work on a hobby. Listen to music.

I’m very busy and I will be until COB Wednesday. I have some trainings to attend and monthly report to finish. I hadn’t had the chance to finish the report yesterday as we attended the career development workshop. It was great and I found out that I’m slacking in this aspect. Hahaha! Maybe I just don’t have the drive or I’m palin happy with where I am now. Sometimes I’m afraid to take on more responsibilities at work because it will mean less personal and family time. I don’t want to sacrifice that. However, they said that career develoment doesn’t always mean going up. It can mean lateral moves but to a position aligned to your passion and skills. That’s good point that I should think about.
Anyway, today is the Management Fundamentals training. And it will run for two whole days. I’m trying to finish my blogging work so that it would no longer get in the way. I hope I would be able to do all my tasks today and learn something that I could use in the training. Have a great Tuesday everyone!
