2008 Calendar

My very good friend Amore, made us a very nice calendar. I’m so excited because it is the first time that I’m having a personalized calendar like this. I love what she did on all the cover pages but here’s my top two favorite.

Another Willie Scandal

I was listening at the news this morning when they brought up the scandal that the TV host Willie Revillame currently faces. He allegedly bought a Ferrari hot car which he vehemently denies. He only paid one million for tax. Hahaha! Will he get away with this, this time around?

Anyway, that is not surprising. A lot of rich people here in this country can evade paying correct taxes. In the US there is a legal way of ridding tax debts once and for all and that is through American tax relief. Would you know if there is something like that here in the Philippines?

Last Night’s Wedding

We had a grand time at the wedding last night and we have some nice photos too. Good thing we already bought new nimh batteries for our digital point and shoot camera. The old one simply dies after a short period of time despite that it’s fully charged and that is frustrating. So we decided to discard it and replace it with a new one.

I’ll share the full story and some of the pictures taken at the wedding reception later.

12.25.07

I haven’t updated this blog with where we are during the recent holidays so allow me to backtrack. We were invited by my good friend Mitzie to visit their home in Pasig. I was thrilled because the last time we saw each other was when we’re still both pregnant. Our babies were born exactly a week apart. Hehehe. We met each other in one of the e-groups that we joined. We instantly hit it off because we share the same faith, we’re both newlyweds and we got pregnant almost at the same time.

We usually chat using YM and I am happy to have found a friend. The meeting was nice too because we also met each other’s husbands and kids. B.boy had a grand time in their playground especially on the slide.

We just exchanged stories and had some merienda. Her husband whipped a very nice tuna salad and mango float. We brought some baked spaghetti that we shared during the visit.

Their place also a big pool and Mitzie was laughing at B.boy because he calls is “dagat” (beach). Hahaha! The little guy thought that every big body of water is considered a beach. It was a nice visit and we enjoyed ourselves with their company. Many thanks for havingus over Mitzie!

Online Consultation

I’m so happy that most of the things on my to do list that I have posted before has been accomplished. Except for the visit the dentist part. I need to do that soon but I can’t seem to find time to squeeze it in. Other than that, I also have to visit an OB-Gyne. It’s been more than a year since my last check-up and I know I should be seeing her at least every six months.

I have some questions for her but I’m not sharing it here because they are a bit personal. Hahaha! I was surfing the net for some general answers to my queries but I found nothing specific. What I stumbled upon is a site designed to help people ask questions and order treatments for sensitive health issues, like erectile dysfunction. I know, viagra comes to mind. Their GMC doctors offer service and advice designed to compliment any advice given by family doctor.

Why did we jump into that topic anyway? Well, I think the logic behind the site is great because it provides a channel for people who are too busy to schedule an ‘off-line’ consultation. If there is a site like this that tackles OB-Gyne issues then, that will be helpful for me. But I really should put that pending visit into my schedule this month.
