Are you fond of jewelries? I’m not. I’m more of a shoes and bag person. But a lot of women are into jewelries. They are buying the quality ones to serve as their investment too. For them diamond are girl’s best friend. Others are into religious jewelry.

My mom bought us nice gold jewelries when we were still residing at Saudi. Gold is cheap there and she told us to take good care of it as it can be viewed as investments. We wear them during special occasions only. Hahaha!

This is the first wedding we attended this year and it was a lovely one. It is well attended by their family members and close friends. Both of them are M0rn1ng’s friends at his previous work place.

I was pressed for time so I have this dilemma of having my makeup done in the salon or doing it myself. Well, I did neither of the two. I remember one of my officemates who’s good at applying makeup. I’m a glad they agreed to help me out. Actually, they did a fantastic job if I may say. Thank you so much Mary and Lav.  Here’s the proof:

We arrived at the reception a bit late because I came straight from the office. Alabang is a bit far from Makati and we encountered heavy traffic leaving the business area as it is rush hour. We arrived at The Palms at 6:45 pm and all the guests are done eating already. Kakahiya! Good thing there are a lot of food left and we loved all of them, from the appetizer to the soup to the main entrée to the dessert. The chef did a very good job. The ballroom was nicely decorated but what impressed me is the intimacy of the wedding. They just invited around 120 guests.

I was teary-eyed after hearing the bride’s speech. Her last words were: “I’d like to thank my husband for making my fairytale come true.” Awwwww!

I was looking at the stock market price close today and I am glad it was UP for the past two days. Last Monday, our equity fund is starting to lose money. Good thing that the bond fund is still going strong. We have to look at our little investments this year and make sure that they’re making and not losing money.

I am so excited!!! Yesterday, Cebu Pacific sent me an email blast informing that they are having an 888 promo fare for all international destinations. I was really excited because we’re planning to go to Singapore this year. My friend lives there and she invited us to stay with them when we go visit. I wouldn’t want to pass this opportunity because the round trip fare only costs 5,000 each. M0rn1ng and I discussed about this last night and he is okay to book. So I called my friend in SG this morning to ask if it is okay to stay with them on the last week of May. She told me that it’s fine so I booked the flight right away.

Now, I only need to have our passports ready. New one for hubby and little boy and mine have to be renewed. Would you know what are the requirements? We will schedule to arrange it last week of January. We also need to save for the pocket money. So I have to grab some opps aggressively. Hahaha!

I’m sooooo happy as this will be our first out of the country trip as a family. It will be our post third wedding anniversary celebration too. I can’t wait for May.
