We Are Family

We are a family of cat lovers.  Mom and dad has a total of 5 pet cats right now in Ilocos and i myself have raised 2.  I love cuddling them and they even sleep in our beds.  Caressing their smooth fur and hearing them purr in contentment is enough to relax me in a tiresome day.

However,  having pets entails cost and responsibility too.  You have to feed them with the right food, have them vaccinated and spay them if you are not prepared to care for kittens.  It is very cruel to allow your cats have litter then throw them away because we couldn’t accomodate them in our homes.  We also have to have them treated when they are sick or when they get fractured due to accident.

In the US there is such a thing as pet insurance to help the rising cost of veterinary care.  I think this is a great thing to have to better take care of our pets.  Neuter/spay procedures costs thousands pesos if done by private vet.  I know because i’ve shopped around before for our cat Vhozzie. Good thing CARA helped me and the procedure was done in just a small fraction of the real cost.
