This company has a humble beginning 20 years ago. It started out as a three-man operation. They do the taking of orders via phone and delivering them all through Northern California. Due to their hard work and commitment to customer satisfaction, it grew to what it is today.

Though much has changed in the operations in that they’ve grown to be the largest in their field, they still maintain their personal touch to customers. They still thank them with a bag of candy.

Happiness in Asia

A poll taken by Survey Research Hong Kong Limited found that the happiest people in both Taiwan and the Republic of Korea are poor and in their 30’s. In the Philippines, where the GNP (gross national product) is just $500 (U.S.) per capita and 41 percent of the people live in poverty, 94 percent claim happiness. This same attitude toward life is shared by almost all their neighbors in Asia, bar one. “In a region generally bubbling over with cheer,” said Mainichi Daily News, Asia’s richest country “came out as the least happy place.” Even with a GNP exceeding $27,000 (U.S.) per capita, 40 percent of the Japanese confess that they are not happy.

Team Dinner @ John and Yoko

I’ve been caught up with a lot of work recently that I don’t have time to blog about recent happenings. So allow me to back track a little bit.

We had a team dinner last Feb 29 at John and Yoko at Greenbelt 5. Yup, it pushed through despite the ongoing rally at Paseo de Roxas. Here are some pictures.

We all loved the food. I especially like the salmon sashimi because it was so fresh. Kainis lang because I didn’t have the chance to take a picture of the food because my batteries went caput. Here’s the sole food picture I have.

Service was great and we were well attended by their servers. They have an outfit that will register in your mind. Women servers wear black mini dress with matching knee high boots. Their hair has a blonde highlight too.

Price is a little bit on the high side. Expect to shell out around 600-800 bucks each.
