My officemate is soon to be a godmother to her friend’s 3 month old baby girl. She is looking for a nice gift to give. She wants to give something that is both practical and useful. I’m trying to help her find something that will suit her criteria.
Then I saw one of these very nice looking Baby Prams or Baby Pushchairs.

It has a forward and rear facing seat. It also has a removable hood and a bumper bar. It should be fairly easy to navigate and push because of small front swivel wheels. Carrying it is not a hassle as well because of it’s lightweight aluminum frame. It is also easy to clean and comes with a large shopping basket. This will be something very useful to her friend whenever they go out with the baby.
Since her friend is always on the go, it might be a good idea to give them Baby Travel Cots like this.

It pops up easily and come with its own carry bag. It is foldable and is very light weight. It also comes padded mattress and toy loops and is suitable from birth to 18 months.
I’m sure her friend would love to receive any one of these.

I love this topic because I can relate to some of the anwers that Aggies posted. The question is:
What are the things you want them to know about life after the wedding?
Like her, our first year of marriage is a bumpy ride. There are times that I feel regret that I married my husband. It didn’t help that I became pregnant just 2 months after the wedding day. My hormones were crazy and we were always arguing. We were from two entirely different families and our way of doing things were really opposite poles so it took hard work to adjust to each other.
Good thing that we agreed to solve our own problems so there weren’t many people involved, just the two of us. Looking back, i realize that most of our problems and issues then were brought about by false expectations about what married life is all about. I’m sharing some of my realizations below:
1. It requires adjustment.
The marriage relationship requires adjustments. You both entered into it with at least some expectations and ideals that were not very practical and realistic. When these are not met, some disappointment may come after the first few weeks. But, remember, you have made a big change in your life. You are no longer living alone or with a family that you have been with all your life. You are now with a new person, one you may be discovering that you don’t know as well as you thought you did. Your schedule is new, your work may be new, your budget is different, and there are new friends and in-laws to get used to. The success of your marriage and your happiness depend upon your willingness to adjust.
2. Learn to be Flexible.
Both should be mature and realize that neither one has the time or the energy to do all the things that were done before marriage. Now is the time to show flexibility and accept the deeply satisfying responsibility of making marriage work. One person can ruin a marriage, but it takes two to make it work. Making marriage work is an achievement. Achievement implies accomplishing something despite difficulties. When the two of you join in this endeavor, a part of each of you blends into this achievement. This joint effort with a mutual goal ties you together; it binds you close; it makes the two of you one. In time this creates a bond of love surpassing anything felt in anticipation of marriage, and in such unifying happiness it becomes a pleasure to adjust to each other’s differences.
3. Disagree without being disagreeable.
4. Learn to communicate in a loving way. Communication is the life blood of marriage. So never never never take it for granted.

We are planning to go to Ilocos to visit my parents sometime this August. I hope it pushes through as it has been months since we last saw them. Lately, they’ve been getting sick and I worry a lot because they do not have any other companion at home.
I’m also looking at some pasalubong to bring home. While browsing the net, I saw a very nice line of leather goods from Johnston and Murphy. I’m pretty sure my dad would love their bags and wallets. Just sharing this information as some of you might be looking for gifts to give to the men of their lives.

I love going to National Bookstore especially when I was still in my elementary days. I remember that during this time of the year, my mom will take us there to buy our school supplies. I would pick out those fancy notebooks, binders, highlighter and pens. I am very choosy with notebooks. I want the lines to provide ample space for me to write on and the surface smooth. Then I would always choose bic pens because the tip is fine and it last very long.
My penmanship was never fancy so I should have the right notebook kand pen so that it will look presentable.
How about you? Do you enjoy your bookstore trips when you were still in school?

I chance upon the Koreanovela Dalja’s Spring on primetime TV last night. I think I like it because of the element of fun in the story. It is about a 33 year old single girl who has been looking for her one true love and her race against time. It comically and realistically portrays the pursuit of true love of a thirty something woman. There are some scenes that really crack me up.
Then I came to realize why Dating Affiliate Programs are really popular. And there is no savvy and effective way than to look for it online. I’m not really sure if it works but some swear by it. They also said that they have opportunity to make money through these affiliate sites.
Has anyone of you tried this?

It’s been a year since I got my own domain and web hosting for this nicemorning blog. I couldn’t be happier because finally I have more flexibility and free hand in this site, not to mention some monetary opportunities opening up as well. I was fortunate because Amore, a very good of mine help me up with the setup. She did all the legwork, the domain registration, the hosting setup and the transfer of my post from free wordpress to this new site. All I have to do is sit back and relax.
If I have to do it all by myself, it might take forever before I get this up and running. I have to research and find the best web hosting company to get hosting services from. It is important to choose wisely as a crappy service would translate to frequent downtimes to your site.
I good place to do this research is webhostinggeeks.com. It ranks the web hosting companies out there and it gives consumer reviews. Our current host is hostmonster and it is currently on top five. It offers cheap Unix hosting. So far we are happy and satisfied with it.
Happy one year to us Amore!

1. Which do you dislike the most, pop-up ads all over your screen or spam e-mails?
I hate pop-up ads.
2. When your plate has different foods on it do you usually mix all the foods
together, keep them all separate, or do you combine only certain foods?
My MIL has noticed this that I dislike to mix all the food in my plate. Maybe it’s just my OCness.
3. Have you ever snooped in your significant others things? How does it feel?
I did once. I read all his old emails. I felt so guilty and I confessed my crime. hehehe
4. Describe your morning ritual to me.
Wake up, nurse B.boy, drink food supplement, blog, prepare to go to work.
5. You run in to a friend while out shopping. Where are you?
Shoe stores. I love shoes.
6. Would you rather miss the beginning or the end of a movie? If you had to?
Beginning. Missing the end part is very anti-climactic.
7. Which is worse? Being in a place that is too loud or too quiet?
Too loud.
8. Which is worse? Being under age or being over the hill?
Being over the hill.
9. What kind of perfume do you wear?
Cool and relaxing scents. But come to think of it I don’t wear perfume most of the time. I’m not a perfume person at all. It don’t gaga over it the way I do with diamond rings.
10. Would you rather change your past or know your future?
Know my future. I’m more of a planner so I would want to know what is way ahead.

Happy morning! The sheriff is looking after me.
I’m so happy because there wasn’t much to write these past two days. Looking back at all the sites that I’m enrolled to, the sheriff is the one who’s giving me the most moolah. I love doing assignments for them because they are plentiful and they are easy to do.
The next best site that provides moolah for me is 3P. This is especially true before the war began. Nonetheless, I still get good opportunity from them. Top 3 in my list is SR. Once I got the hang of bidding, I began to appreciate this.
If you are into my sideline, you know exactly what I’m talking about here.
