Having your own domain and hosting is great. I’ve tried blogging through Blogger and then Wordpress but nothing beats having your own website. For one, you can tweak it to your liking and you can earn extra bucks from it. I had my very own site 2 years ago and my friend Amore helped me set it up. So I didn’t have any problems choosing my own host. We chose Hostmonster and so far we are happy with it. There are no downtimes and it is relatively easy to set up.

I have friends who wanted to have their own site but I cannot recommend Amore any longer as she is no longer accepting any for hosting services.
