Yes, he’s not nursing from me anymore…not even at night. He’s just content to hug me until he drifts off to dreamland. The last time that he asked for “dede” is around three weeks ago so I think it is now safe to say that he has finally given up nursing altogether. I can feel that my body is adjusting to this as I’m slowly gaining weight and my breast has significantly reduced its size. Bad news huh?!

Now, what I’m waiting is for my period to return. Sometimes I can feel symptoms of PMS. Good thing I don’t get any acne yet. Before, I used to get big zits days prior to my period.

Now, if you ask me if I miss our breastfeeding relationship, I’d probably say yes. But there are things that you can’t hold on forever. I’m just glad that I was able to nurse him for more that 2 years and that alone is a big accomplishment on my part.
