Detox

I’ve been comparing different food supplements these past few days and since I’ve been gaining weight, chubby cheeks and large belly are the proof. I’ve come across with a product which they call Orovo detox. According to studies, people gain weight because of toxins in the body. Toxins can compromise metabolic and glandular functions that could result in weight gain. Those who have tried this claims that they’ve lost up to 15 pounds.

This is something worth looking into by those who are serious in keeping fit and trimming their body.

Sunday Plans

I’m planning to go to the salon today. I need a haircut badly. It’s been almost a year now and my hair is very unkempt. It’s really hard to find time for yourself when you’re a mom as there are always priorities and things like shopping or going to the salon are pushed back for later. But not now. I really need to put it on the schedule or I wouldn’t be able to do it at all.

I already told M0rn1ng and he said he and the little boy will tag along. He said they will wait for me at Timezone. I guess the boys have a plan on their own. Hahaha! I hope I would be able to accomplish this today. We just need to go to our bible study appointments first.

Business Matters

My dad has been running a hadware business in the province for 14 years now and he said that he is badly hit by the financial downturn. The market has been so erratic and there are times that he has bought some of his stock for such a high price only to find out the prices had dropped so low in the next few days. He said that he still recovering for a lot of losses in the past months.

I guess it will always be like that when you are in a business. However, hard times make us really creative and look at things in a different perspective and find ways to keep afloat. He said he is looking at the market and keeping tabs on where the opportunities are. He said that he might offer some diverse products that people need in our place to boost his sales a bit. Maybe he needs to stock up on farmhouse sinks and other farm supplies.

Potty Training

015.jpg015.jpgOne of the things that we started on our last vacation was little boy’s potty training. I’ve been meaning to do this long time ago but I have no time to monitor him as I am in the office the whole day. I figured out that this six day vacation would give me enough time to introduce potty training. I also thought that this is the right time as he can now hold his bladder and knows when to say “wiwi”. The only problem then was we couldn’t convince him to do it in the comfort room. He would always ask us to put on his diapers whenever he wants to poop or pee.

It all started when we were out swimming two Saturdays ago. He wanted to pee so badly but his diapers were far away and he agreed to do it in an empty place nearby. So I didn’t let him wear diapers since then. When he wants to urinate, I take him outside and he does it there. After a few days, I encouraged him to do it in the CR as we told him that it is safer to do it there. Outside, there are dogs and they might mistake his private part as hotdog and eat it.

It worked! The next time he did it, he agreed to try the bathroom. It’s been a week that he just wears his diapers at night. He’s wearing the briefs that his Tita Simone has given him a few months back. Thank God!

Our next project is to train him to poop in the toilet bowl. I hope we can accomplish this by year-end. :)
