Zits

It is really getting hot. I can feel the summer heat. I love this kind of weather as I am up and active all time. :) Can’t wait to hit the beach and soak in the sun.

However, I noticed that I slowly get zits on my face. Maybe because I sweat more and dust and dirt sticks on my face. I need to wash my face more and ensure that it is clean. I wanted to take care of this before it becomes a big problem that needs to be dealt with acne treatments. :)

Telesales

I am glad that our bunso finally got a job. She’s been looking for the past couple of months. She has been offered different positions in the hospitality industry but declined because of the schedule.

She got a sales post in our company. They will be selling financial magazines through phone. I was so happy that she got the job as she did not have any previous experience. What’s good is that she is willing to learn. I suppose that she will receive sales training in the near future to help her in her job.

She will be starting this coming April. We will be working in just company same as my other sister. :)

Someone Played With the Gel

032.jpg

He saw his dad’s gel near the stairs and put a lot of it in his head. We were surprised because he poured it liberately on his head like a shampoo.

031.jpg

You can tell in his face that the mischievous kid had a grand time. :) We have to bathe him that night to remove all the gel he has put in his hair. hahahaha!

Busy Week

As usual, last week was still busy in the office. I took a leave last Monday and we had loads and we as a family had loads of fun bonding. We also met Ate Bebe at Trinoma. We had a great time catching up. You know, stuff that friends seldom see each other do. :) I’ll make another post for this.

We also bought the little boy to his pedia and he was given a shot. I was so proud as he did not cry at all. The doctor gave him a bottle of bubbles as a reward. This needs a separate post as well together with the pictures.

The rest of the week was spent with all the office stuff. We are all very busy because of our expansion. I was getting all the quotes for PCs, IP phones and even office furnitures that we will be needing. I also coordinated with HR regarding Job descriptions, recruitment process and timelines. My boss also sent me a large list of applications that needs to be tested in the next couple of months and see if we can access these without any problems. I know this is going to be a busy year but with proper planning, I’m hoping that we won’t be cramming and end up getting too stressed.

I’m a bit sad because I don’t have much time to devote online these past few months. But I’m building something offline and I hope all my hard work will pay off in the long run. Happy Weekend! :)

MIA Last Week

You might have noticed that there is nothing new here last week. I’ve been too caught up with things in the office and had no time to blog. I missed writing though.

My 4 bosses were here and schedules were pretty tough. The day of reckoning finally arrived. It is a moment of great anticipation for the whole team. I hope that now everything is out in the open we can plan accordingly and approach things with much energy and enthusiam.

I’ve been in the same situation same almost the same time last year. It really felt like dejavu. We already decided and we hope that we made the right decision. Please wish me all the best. I realized that we must really take a proactive approach in life and take time for things that really matters…those that mean a whole lot of difference. We must also have great expectations and set higher upper bounds to really achieve our own potential.

I also missed the Annual Physical Exam last week because I didn’t have the time to register and participate. Maybe I’ll just take some time next month to have it done in Humana. I should have it done before we change our Health Card Provider. I’ve heard that HR is currently re-evaluating and looking for health insurance leads.

That’s all for now! Have a great week ahead. :)

Job. Work.

More and more people are losing their jobs everyday. Even I don’t feel secure with my own job. Although they’ve announced that our company was doing well and the financial results last year were exceeding targets, we are still undergoing integration and as we move to being one company we expect organizational structure changes and roles change in the next couple of years. I just ready myself with all these keeping in mind that I should work hard, network to keep tabs with opportunities and be agile to adjust to changes accordingly. It is an ever changing and fast paced work environment that we are in. Either you ride the bus or be left behind.

I always remind myself to always look at the long term when seeking opportunities inside the organization. I don’t care if this is a different role but if this will take me where I wanted to be in the next couple years then count me in. I would work hard. Same can be said to a lot of people nowadays. They are willing to take anything even jobs in sales if that’s the only thing available. I can’t blame them. Better have a job than none at all.

Eheads - The Final Set

We were there to witness the concert at MOA grounds. This is practically the music that I grew up with and I can still recall my happy HS and College days with it. Wala lang masaya lang talaga tong band na to and I was really disappointed when they disbanded. Pero at least nag reunion so this is the chance to see them back together again.

We enjoyed the whole show because the performance was really great and you can see them really enjoy what their doing. It’s like travelling back in time. Ansaya!

We only got SILVER tickets and we came around 15 minutes before the show started so mejo masikip na talaga and andaming tao. We hardly got decent shots.

021.jpg

Pero got some video clips in our cam. Ok na rin yun. :) At least we were there to witness a once in a lifetime event.

028.jpg

All smiles after the show. :) Sorry Buddy!

QOTW #49

1. Tell me, are you feeling lucky this week?
Hmmmm. I don’t believe in luck.

2. Are you good at figuring out when you just shouldn’t say anything?
Yes. It keeps you out of trouble so I have mastered the art. :)

3. While using someone else’s bathroom, have you ever looked inside their medicine/toiletries cabinet?
No. I don’t think it is appropriate to go through other people’s stuff.

4. If you accidentally walked out of a shop with an item you haven’t paid for, would you return to pay for it?
Depends. We had this one instance where McDo did not punch 1 burger that I bought. I did not bother return as I was pressed for time. I had another meeting in the office that day and I only figured out the mistake when I was back in the office.

5. Do you think combining as many uses into one is cost affective?
I think so. That’s what they do to market a good auto insurance, right?

6. Do you always get what you wish for?
No. It’s not always rosy but we should learn to be happy and content.

7. Can you talk and type at the same time?
About different things? Nope..

Bask in the glory.
