I’ve been too preoccupied with so many things offline that I couldn’t find time to blog hop and update my blog. We are working hard on building and cementing the foundation of something of great benefit on the long run and it needs me to prioritize things. So blogging took a back seat for a while.

There are opportunities at work lately and I’ve worked hard and sacrificed too much for the past one year and M0rn1ng and I figured out that it would be foolish not to finish what we’ve started. A few more efforts and I can feel that we will now reap the results of what we’ve worked hard for. Other than that, I also signed up to be an auxillary pioneer in our congregation. That means spending 50 hours in the ministry this month. That requires planning, foresight, schedule, time management and discipline. I hope Jehovah God blesses my efforts and help me to do what I have promised. I’m hoping to find interested people who would like to have bible studies conducted to them.

We are having a 3 day holiday next week. I’m hoping to use that in the ministry and update this blog too. I need to finish my writing assignments, and that means writing stuff about cell tower and other topics.

My boss nominated me to attend a management development program a couple of months ago. It will be a 4 day workshop that will be held in Hong Kong and a 6 months follow through. I’ve been wanting to go through this program as I’ve been managing a team for that past 5 years but haven’t had an extensive management training.

I finally got the chance! I was informed 3 weeks ago that I was chosen for the program. That means I’m going to HK on July. I am ecstatic! My boss asked me to contact our company travel agent and ask for airfare and business hotels quotes. The program cost will be funded by the Learning and Development team. However, our business unit will be shouldering my fare, accommodation and per diem. It has to be approved and included in the budget at this point.

I hope our little boy would be able to sleep without mommy. He hasn’t tried being separated to us since his birth. We’re preparing him as early as now. I told him that Mommy needs to talk to Mickey Mouse and ask if he is willing to be brought home to B.boy. I think he’s buying it.

Our little boy had his check up two weeks ago. He was given a Hepa vaccine. We are so proud because he cried no more. The vaccine was administered in his arm. I tried to distract him but when the needle came in, he looked and saw what the doctor was doing. Good thing our pedia is really quick and the deed was done in no time. All he said was “it hurts”.

He was given a very nice band aide with stars and we told him how proud we were that he did cry at all.

 We treated him by riding the MRT and going to Trinoma. We had lunch with my long time friend, Ate Bebe at Heaven n Eggs. The boys went to Timezone after while we girls catch up.

It was a fun day. Ate Bebe also gave him a Crocs sandal. It looks good on him. J His next pedia visit will be when he turns four. A year to go.
