Internationally named ‘Mirinae’, the 4th typhoon that hit our country this October is gone. With winds of up to 150kph, storm signal no.3 was raised in Manila last night and we felt the typhoons strong winds early this morning. We are planning to have a picnic party with the children of our congregation on November 7, Saturday at 2 in the afternoon. We are still looking for a venue so that we can accommodate around 40 people. There will be games, balloons, food, fun and Bible drama about the Israelites’ exodus from Egypt. We have little Moses, little Aaron, little Pharaoh himself and other characters. My little boy, Andre, will be one of the Israelites who will cross the Red Sea. They had the rehearsal last Sunday and it was so fun seeing our little kids act. They will also sing “A Victory Song” after the drama. We woke up early because the Sunday meeting is at 9am. We were told of the Kingdom Hall’s address but where exactly, we don’t know. We have to rely on the map. M0rn1ng and I were up by 6am and we walked around the vicinity of the hotel looking for a new place to have breakfast. We didn’t reach that far as the rain poured heavily. We then settled for our good old McDo.

At around 8, we left the hotel and we are on our way to Lai Chi Kok. We rode the MTR and alighted at Sham Shui Po station. We’re happy that we did not get lost and we’re there 15 mins before 9am.
