A day before we left for Ilocos, we were brought by my sister’s Korean friend in 1970 Grill. It is a hole in the wall Koream Resto in QC. It is a great foodie discovery as it serves authentic Korean Yakiniku and Shabu Shabu dishes. We had Shabu Shabu that night. The taste is very similar to what we had in Seoul with Omma.

The decors are similar to a Korean school. Our friend told us that it used to be a kindergarten school before it became a restaurant so they made it their theme. Very nice!

The food was awesome, servings are generous and it won’t bleed your wallet. Total damage is only 700 bucks for 4 adults and a child. We had our fill so we will definitely be coming back and bring some friends along.

There are many roasted chicken sold in malls, markets, restos around Metro Manila. But there is only one for me. Bugong Roasted Chicken. I want one.

Munchpunch is one of my most visited websites online. Daddy and I loves to eat and sometimes we order through food delivery. Munchpunch contains list of almost all restaurant and food establishments within Metro Manila. They also have reviews for each resto and updated menu list and prices as well.  The website is easy to navigate and you have everything you need whenever you want food delivered to your home right away.

Last February 14, Daddy and I had a date. We had dinner at Zong at the Fort Strip in Bonifacio Global City. The food was still delicious and the price is affordable. Yummy.

If we have Tapsilog and Tocilog in Manila, they have Bagnetsilog in Ilocos. Ilocos is famous for its bagnet (pork belly slab) which is like lechon kawali in Manila. We also enjoyed their Miki and Lomi soup.

Who says there is no such thing as “Free Lunch?” Well, we recently got our free lunch courtesy of BDO credit cards. They will give you a free regular crispy pata at Max’s restaurant for every 3,000 purchase charge to your BDO card.  I want more.
