Planning our HK Trip

We booked our flight to HK yesterday. My SIL and BIL will be coming home this August and they wanted to have a family trip to HK and Macau. Since we can save a lot if we book beforehand, we planned the trip as early as now. We will be spending 5 days and 4 nights there. The plan is to spend 1 night in Macau and another night in Disneyland. We’re very excited! I’m pretty sure our little boy will have a great time in Disney. :)

My SIL went home 2 years ago and at that time we went to Bora. I hope one of these days we will get the chance to visit them in LA. We wanted to visit San Diego and stay in one of those San Diego CA hotels. Maybe one of these days. :)

How Do I Think?

I took this test and the result…..

You Think Concretely

Your brain works best when you are able to see or visualize what you’re thinking about.
You have an both an eye for detail and for the big picture. You study things carefully.

You are in tune with all of your senses, and you think better with a clean workspace.
You are open to all sorts of input. You are a free thinker who lives in the now.

Pretty accurate….hehehe.

Faucet Sale

danze_main_image.jpgHere’s a good find for those who are into home construction and improvement. There is an ongoing Danze faucet sale. Danze is one of the largest faucet manufacturers in the world today. They have over 1,000 unique designs to reflect you personal taste and style, from sleek to ornate to retro. These are also constructed with premium components for beauty that lasts.

This is definitely something worth checking out.  Perfect for your kitchen and even bathrooms.  I love their showers, the designs are really nice.    :)

Sunday Pans

It’s going to be the last day of this weekend and I need to prepare for next week’s jam- packed schedule. I have 2 interviews tomorrow, a couple of meetings and a town hall. It’s been a year since we became one company with R. It’s been a difficult year but with everybody’s help we pulled it through. It still is a challenging year ahead but I think we’ve gone through the worst.

This year we will deal with our expansion and we have to prove our site capacity. I hope everybody in our team is willing to take up this challenge. Anyway, since I will be doing a lot of things next week, I wanted to plan ahead to avoid cramming. I’m asking M0rn1ng if I can drop by the office later today and get my files. Then I can watch them at Glorietta activity center while I get ahead with my work.

I hope he agrees. I know he wanted to go out with his friends to play basketball today. Let’s see how it goes. Sometimes I feel so guilty as I spend less time with family now. Babawi ako next month when we leave for our summer vacation in Puerto Galera. For now, work muna. :)

Diet Supplements

I was looking at diet supplements when I came across this article which is worth sharing

Vitamin Supplements and Cancer

A review of 14 studies involving 170,000 participants suggests that vitamin supplements do not protect against cancer of the throat, stomach, liver, intestines, and pancreas. According to the medical magazine Deutsches Ärzteblatt, the antioxidant supplements beta carotene and vitamins A, C, and E not only have no beneficial effect but could even slightly increase the cancer risk. Dr. Richard Sullivan of Cancer Research UK explains: “There are no shortcuts to prevent bowel cancer. If you’re taking vitamins to protect yourself against the disease, you’re wasting your money.” He adds: “The best way to lower the risk is to eat a healthy diet and not smoke.”

Ate and bunso. Do we look alike? Some people don’t think so. I think there are similarities like our cheekbones and baby hairs. :)

Summer Idea

Summer is really the time to lounge outdoors. How refreshing it is to go outside and feel the breeze with the heat creeping in inside our houses. For those with gardens and lounge chairs, the perfect accents are outdoor cushions. I love that it comes with vibrant summer colors. What’s more is that it is currently on SALE. Regular price is $90 but it is now selling for only $45. 50% off! What’s more is that it comes with free shipping too.

This is what we call a great bargain. :)

My Busiest Month of the Year

April is my busiest month so far. I am pioneering so I have to spend at least 50 hours in the ministry. As of yesterday, I already have 31 hours. Not bad huh? I need to be on track as next week, my youngest sister will be graduating. Mom and Dad will be here so that means less time for me to engage in the ministry on that weekend. They will be here starting Friday and will be leaving on Sunday night. We are planning to have a family picture during that week. I am so excited because we bought similar shirts for this. Girls will be wearing a read striped polo while the guys will be in white.

On the office front, we are starting to get busier and busier. We’re kick starting our team expansion and there are a lot of things to plan and implement so that we can deliver the milestones in the desired timeline. At the moment, my outlook calendar is already packed to the full. I hope I can handle all of these with grace.

The Price of Beauty

We were watching the celebrity news last night and I noticed that more and more celebrities are going out in the open to admit that they’ve undergone surgery just to look good. It’s no wonder that Belo and Calayan’s business are booming these days. The trend is that if you are a celebrity who banks on good looks for their career, it is imperative that you spend to go to these beauty medical groups.

For those who don’t have much to spend, they try different diet pills. I have a friend who has been trying these products for quite some time now. Recently she has been researching and reading about Lipofuze reviews. I was relived that she was researching and reading reviews before taking anything. Sometimes these pills and procedures have not so good effects.
