This is again a late post. (December pa kasi to when we went home to Ilocos) It deserves a blog post as it is one of our little boy’s many firsts. It was my dad’s idea for him to have a camping experience. We were supposed to do it at a beach resort in Currimao. However, that day turned out to be very windy and cold. So we just decided to use our empty lot near Currimao and use the old building structure instead of pitching tents.
My dad invited a lot of kids from their congregation along with their parents. We had a very nice bonfire as you can see here.

We also had a rice cooking contest between daddies and their kids. The challenge is to produce the best cooked rice using just the bamboo as rice container. My boys were one of the contestants and we came in third out of the 5 pairs who joined. (wasn’t bad noh?)We also had a rice cooking contest between daddies and their kids. The boys busy with their rice cooking. (They were all geared up to win)

The heat is on!

Our finished product. (The girl beside little boy, won the first prize)

We also had rounds of Bible games and have grilled hotdogs on fire. It was quite an experience and the little boy had so much fun.
