We Are Family

My best friend is recently complaining about bed bugs in her house. Her 2 year old son was bitten and it pains her to see him itch because of it. Besides the bites don’t look very nice. They were all over his son’s legs and they look swollen red.

I remember that we had the same incident when we were young and mom said it was due to our dirty mattress. She had it vacuum and left in the sun to dry. She said that it kills the pests. It works because we never had bed bugs again.

I got curious and looked it up in the net and found this informative bed bug site. It explains the cause of bed bugs and the effective ways of getting rid of them. I found it very useful and I will ask my friend to read it too. I hope she gets rid of those bugs soon.

Last Saturday was our dear friends’ wedding at Coconut Palace. They were blessed with a very fair weather. The sun hid it’s hot rays on the mass of clouds and we are amazed on how romantic it will be to say your vows as the sun sets at the Manila Bay.

We’ve known JR since he joined our congregation 3 years ago and we’re happy that this couple got their happy ending. Lois is JR’s first and only love and it is nice to see that their love stood the test of time.

Love all the details of the wedding and the program was very lively and entertaining. Most of the guests stayed until it was finished.

We finally met Amore’s mom last Tuesday. Amore and I have been friends through our blogs and she was the one who introduced me with blogging. She’s really one of the biggest blessings I’ve received last year because I found a good friend whom I can connect with and share thoughts and stories. She also helped me to earn through blogging which is a great help in our finances. I have a lot to thank her for.

Her mom was with her sister and his family. We met at Glorietta and had dinner at Cabalen. We had a great time sharing stories. Her mom is a great person as she is, very warm and friendly. We bade each other goodbye at almost 10pm.

We had a great time and it was pleasant to finally meet them. Sana next time, it will be Amore that I would meet personally. Hahaha! Kelan kaya yun?

Btw, thanks for all the goodies you gave sis. The clothes fit B.boy perfectly, so does my shoes. And I’ve already sold 4 of the VS lotions that we bought.

One of my friends is getting married this year and we are excited to hold a shower party for her. We’re talking about the party theme, activities and gifts to give her. Someone even suggested to give a bit naughty item such as leather lingerie. I’m sure it will flatter her beautiful figure.

We were invited to a send off party last Friday at Aberdeen Court at Makati Ave. One of our friends is going back to the US and it might take a while before they’ll be coming back. The last time she was home was more than seven years ago and she was missed dearly.

Her mom was creative enough to make an invite of the said get together. I always appreciate receiving invitations whenever there are parties. Verbal invitations are nice but paper invites are nicer. I don’t have the same creative juices as other people have so I don’t normally create my own invites. There are a lot of online sites where you can order them and they offer a vast range of products. Some even have communion invitations.

Anyway, the kids had fun at the party. Even B.boy had a grand time playing with the other kids. It’s great that he knows how to socialize as early as now and older kids especially girls are fond of him. Just take a look.

We went home at around 10 pm and we all had a wonderful time.
