Its been 3 years since daddy called it quits in the call center industry. He was a Business Information Specialist for more than a year taking calls every day during his night shift. After which he became a Quality Assurance specialist for 2 years. The account he used to handle was for a credit reporting agency in the US and they are responsible for updating business credit reports. It was an easy job for him but the work took its toll on him especially when our only son was born. Now, daddy enjoys himself selling and leasing real estate properties. Go daddy.

On October 23, Morning and I will be celebrating our 8th anniversary as sweethearts. It’s a very memorable day for both of us and I’m thinking of buying daddy a new laptop computer. Morning hints of just getting a netbook so it will portable. My sister suggested that Acer Aspire is a good buy since it features the next-generation processor for netbooks and includes Microsoft Windows Vista Basic. Now I’m searching online to find the best deal for a new netbook. I know daddy will love this one.

Months before we purchased our new car, Morning and I are deciding on how to pay for the vehicle. We can either pay through bank financing or by cash payment. Through financing, we were planning to pay 50% downpayment and pay the remaining balance for two years through the bank.  However interest rates are so high which means that we will be paying around ninety thousand more for 2 years. So in the end, we opted to pay in cash. In the US, there are companies that offers rv financing that low fixed rates and extended payment options.

One of the newest and most exciting commercial and entertainment center in our country today is Resorts World Manila located just across Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3. Morning already got his RWM Membership card last month and he can avail of their Php188++ Lunch buffet and Php88++ for Breakfast Buffet. That’s quite an excellent deal. Morning and I watched Iron Man 2 last night at the Glorietta Cinema. We availed of our free movie passes courtesy of Citibank. It was an action packed movie and we both enjoyed it. Looking forward to Iron Man 3.

Finally, Morning will be getting his dream phone, the iPhone 3G next month courtesy of tita Mons. Daddy really wanted to buy a new one but the price is still sooo expensive. It costss around Php 28,000 with a lock in period of 24 months with Globe. But now he’s gonna get it for free. Excellent deal. Daddy is now learning the Ilocano way of frugality.  Hehe.

It was March 30, 2007 when Morning called it quits in the call center industry. He resigned after more than 3 years of working on a graveyard shift. He was an outbound agent for one year and 2 years as a QA Specialist. After that, he was looking for a part time jobs in sales so that he won’t be working eight hours a day and still be able to take care of our little boy. Last July, he was able to renew his license in real estate and now he is a bonafide real estate broker. He is now busy selling properties in Metro Manila and nearby areas in Laguna and Cavite. I am pretty sure that he’ll do good in his new career. Way to go daddy. And congratulations on your sale last January.
