Daddy’s Career Change

Its been 3 years since daddy called it quits in the call center industry. He was a Business Information Specialist for more than a year taking calls every day during his night shift. After which he became a Quality Assurance specialist for 2 years. The account he used to handle was for a credit reporting agency in the US and they are responsible for updating business credit reports. It was an easy job for him but the work took its toll on him especially when our only son was born. Now, daddy enjoys himself selling and leasing real estate properties. Go daddy.

Biboy and Peep

Like his daddy, Biboy loves cars too. He enjoys riding Peep and cleaning it as well. You can see him here helping daddy dry Peep after washing it. Peep is now 4 months old and as early as today, Morning is looking for cheap car insurance that we can avail for next year. Currently, we got our car a comprehensive insurance with “acts of nature” clause for almost 30 thousand pesos. Hopefully we can get one at a much lower premium if we can haggle with some car insurance companies.

First Family Pic

My sister-in-law Vivian is here for a two week vacation.  She bought Biboy his favorite arcade character “Pacman” stuffed toy and pillow.  Biboy also got a new remote controlled Lamborghini Revento race car.  You can just imagine what my little boy felt after receiving those gifts.  Tomorrow, we will be going to Tagaytay for an overnight stay.  The place is called T-House and is overlooking the famous Taal volcano.  The house is really suitable for photo ops so we decided to bring some clothes for picture taking.  Biboy would look good with bow ties while daddy and I will be wearing formal clothes as well.  We are so excited for our first family picture in Tagaytay. Will post pics later.

Day 2: Luge & Skyride

This is the thrilling Luge & Skyride at the Sentosa Resorts Park. Biboy was brave enough to ride the Luge with his Papa (Lolo Nestor). He told us that Papa was riding the luge very fast and they won the race.  Ivy and I took the last place.

iPad in SG

This is the new iPad that we bought in Singapore  for my colleague in the office. We got her iPad for S$828 which has 16GB memory and wifi connectivity. It was launched in Singapore on July 23 and all of the stocks were sold out. We were surprised that we were able to purchase one last unit in Funan IT mall. They were also selling insurance for ipads but we told the store owner that we’ll just probably get one back home. I believe that my colleague is enjoying every minute using her new hi-tech gadget

GMAT Prep

After finishing my bachelor’s degree in Statistics on March 2000, many of my co-graduates encouraged me to pursue my masteral degree. Afterwhich it would be best to take the Graduate Management Admissions Test before I look for a job. However, a lot of time and effort are needed for preparing for the exams. Many prospective MBA applicants are advised to buy atleast 2 books on gmat prep and an official guide for GMAC. Since the GMAT test is computer adaptive, many recommend that I should practice the test in its computer adaptive test format so I can get used to it when taking the real test. If you are serious about increasing your gmat score, it would be best to enroll in Knewton gmat prep courses.
